Hi..well Tony if you allow me to answer your question which is No,argeeleh is a Turkish invention from so long ago,as you will find on Argeeleh.com, but as our region(Jordan,palestine,syria,and lebannon) were turkish terretories,so this invention as alot of other turkish inventions(like 3araq) was taken from the turks.
